Our Instructors

Meet our coaches! Coach (or Kru if you’re taking Muay Thai) Andy and Coach Maaliek. You aren’t just a number to them. Whether you’re young or old, new to the gym or been there forever, fighting or casual, you’ll get one-on-one instruction from both of them. Don’t believe me? See for yourself, come by during a class.

Kru Andy

I began my martial arts training around the age of six, initially focusing on Kung Fu. As I matured, I transitioned to more rigorous disciplines, including Kempo Karate. At the age of 12, I discovered my passion for Taekwondo and dedicated myself to studying the art until I enlisted in the Army. During my military service, I trained in boxing, which became my primary sport while stationed at Fort Bragg. Upon returning to Boston, I sought a new combat sport and took up Muay Thai. I have since earned an amateur heavyweight title. I enjoy teaching, being able to watch students refine their skills is an amazing feeling to have.

Coach Maaliek

Coach Maaliek started out teaching the kids class. Now he also teaches the adults Muay Thai, boxing, and strength & conditioning classes as well. His goal is to help everyone improve their technique so they can see their full potential.
